Five Sons

C.W Anderson

Author of many children's books, Anderson is well known for his love of horses. The Billy and Blaze series of was first published in 1936 and offers the reader wonderful black-and-white pencil sketches of horses. Seven of the original books have been reprinted by Aladdin as high quality paperbacks. C. W. Anderson was also the author of several non-fiction books about horses.

Some of his work can be seen at the Denver Art Museum and he also created a number of covers for the "Saturday Evening Post".
